Hurricane Ike winds reached Arkansas with a vengeance.  The photos below are from Larry's visit shortly thereafter, and which were relayed by Mike White.

A tree near the Cameron cabin went down

right into the swimming hole

which also took out the Cameron electrical service weatherhead

I thought it good to preserve these photos for future reference and a look at the swimming hole when empty. This afternoon I chainsawed some of the branches from across the stream flow just in case it runs (ha!) so that debris would maybe not get caught up so much.
