Organization of the Files on the genealogy page 

Basic organization

The organization of the files in the online viewer will be best demonstrated by listing what's there now, as follows (with a separate file for each of the people indicated):

• A.B. + Jane --- maintained by Gil Jones and Liz Cubage.
• Malinda -- maintained by Liz Cubage
• Guilford -- maintained by Gil Jones

and it will continue for each of the 11 children of A.B. and Jane.

Why organize this way?

It is our hope that each line will be primarily maintained by a family member in that line. For example, Gil is the grandson of Guilford and will take the main responsibility. However, my cousin Jeannette has been set up as another used with edit rights on the Guilford file.  

How do you do it?

You can either do it on your computer and upload to the genealogy site or do it entirely on the site. More about that in the next chapter.
