Isaac Jarrett “Jack” Jones, Jr.

Jack Jones was born June 29, 1900 and  died in World War I September 30, 1918, and was buried at sea with the U.S.S. Ticonderoga which was sunk by a German submarine.  Tablet commemorating Jack’s sacrifice for his country is at Suresnes Cemetery outside Paris, France.  When U.S. declared war on Germany April 6, 1917, Jack was attending Amity High School.   Jack left high school and joined the Navy.
