Fritz William Eisenlohr, Jr., was born October 12, 1921, in Dallas, and died July 19, 1944, in St. Lo, France, during World War II.

Billy attended Central High School in Oklahoma City and Oklahoma Military Academy in Claremore. He joined the 45th Division of the U.S. Army and trained in Alabama in the summer and Waterville, New York, in the winter. In August 1944 he stepped on a land mine in St. Lo, France. Before he left for overseas he married Joan Mount of Oklahoma City, who survives.
