Blog entries can be categorized by ancestor

If you have information about an ancestor you can do a quick blog entry or photo and categorize it by that ancestor’s name. You will find a category list on the right side of the editing page. If your entry involves more than one ancestor, you can check each applicable one. If it involves all of them in general, that is a single “Ancestors” category for that.

For example:  my ancestor is Guilford L. Jones, and I am Guilford L. Jones, III and am one of the few 3rd generation descendants because Guilford was the youngest of the 11. I have clicked his box “Ancestor: Guilford” so this entry will show up in a category search.

I have also tagged this entry with “Gil Jones” so it will also show up in the Tag Cloud.

I am writing this while at the valley and am here with Larry. Since I mentioned him I’ll also tag it with his name.

Ya gonna say something or just be a drive-by?
